The SIPPhobia condition
SIPPhobia is described as fear of anything that has to do with SIP. This
may include: using SIP Phones, being left alone
in the same room with a SIP server, or in extreme cases just hearing the
word SIP...
SIPPhobia Treatment
Initial diagnostic (via email
or phone (+1 847 651 0925))
is performed; Treatment is applied on a case by case basis:
Exposure treatment - the patient is
exposed to the phobic stimulus as part of the therapeutic process. We
may use here
sharp exposure to the SIP Illustrated course combined with SIP based
Instant Messaging chat.
Flooding - the person is
immersed in the fear reflex until the fear itself fades away. We may
flood the patient
with SIP phone images from the SIP-in-the-market-place module of SIP
Illustrated.
Systematic desensitization -
beginning with the least anxiety-provoking stimulus and moving then to
the next least
anxiety-provoking stimulus until all all of the
items listed in the SIP anxiety hierarchy have been dealt with
successfully.
This may include SIP chat over 'regular' phone; gradual exposure to SIP
Illustrated (via its SIP/VoIP Basics module) may be
attempted as well.
Modeling - the patient observes others (the
"models") in the presence of the phobic stimulus who are
responding with
relaxation rather than fear. This new revolutionary treatment may
include chat via Video SIP based phone with one of
our SIPKnowledge staff . The patient will observe the SIPKnowledge staff performing SIP related activities (e.g. share a
virtual
white board) while staying calm and steady.
